The first step that you need to take when decorating your small room is that you need to remove all the items from the room. Check the items and find the items that you may not require in the future. You can either sell these items or throw them away if they are not saleable. Don’t put the items that you don’t require back in the room as they will take up the limited space. The placement of your furniture plays an important room in designing your small room. If possible, try and place the furniture in an open walkway which will give you more open space.

When decorating your small room it is important that you use good quality paint to color the room. Painting is one of the biggest changes you can bring in your room, so make sure you choose the right color and quality. To get an idea of the color, put a small patch of the color on the wall. Use light colors when decorating your rooms as they have a tendency to make your room look open. To decorate your room you can use pictures, mirrors, rugs made decorative pillows. These decorations will enhance the look of your room without occupying much space. Make sure you use minimal decorations in your small room. Excessive decoration will give your room a cluttered look, which is best avoided
